We believe everyone needs places to belong - spaces to meet people, build friendships, be known, and grow deeper in faith. Sometimes community begins with a conversation or a fun night together. Other times, it grows around a table where we share our stories, ask honest questions, celebrate what’s good, and carry one another through what’s hard.
That’s why community at Lake Forest is bigger than any one program. Through groups and gatherings throughout the year, connection can grow into meaningful friendship and flourishing faith.
Whether you’re a skeptic, spiritual explorer, or longtime follower of Jesus, there’s a place for you to connect, belong, and take your next step.

Joining a Serve Team is one of the best ways to connect with others! You get to know new friends while greeting guests, pouring coffee, caring for kids, and more.
Whether you’re mentoring kids at lunch together, traveling to the Appalachia to repair homes, or packing groceries for our neighbors, you can find community through Missio Dei.
