We have an incredible team of 'guides' who lead, care, and provide assistance in our Kidventure area every Sunday. From holding babies to crafting with kindergarten to leading games for our 4th and 5th graders, there is fun to be had at every age.

This summer, we're inviting you (yes, you!) to jump in and serve in Kidventure!

No strings attached, no long term commitment.

As our team members take some time to vacation with family and enjoy the summer weather, your willingness to hop in a few times over the summer ensures that we still have all of the fun in Kidventure without missing a beat!

Explore following Jesus into the waters of baptism through Baptism 101!

At Lake Forest, we celebrate baptism as a part of worship once a month. Before getting baptized, you must attend a Baptism 101 class. You may also want to consider attending our Welcome 101 class to learn more about our faith and Lake Forest Church, although Welcome 101 is not required. You do not have to be a Ministry Partner/Member to be baptized at Lake Forest Church. Read more about what we believe about baptism here.

Registration is required.

During the winter months, we host unhoused neighbors from Charlotte through Room In the Inn (Roof Above). This summer, we’ll partner with Roof Above in serving a meal and hosting an ice cream social at the Day Service Center for 250+ people.

This will take place between 10:30 am - 1pm, with flexibility for those serving different parts of the meal.

Carpooling will be available.

Whether you're interested in leading a small group, serving in ministry, or simply want to grow as a leader in your family, workplace, or community, Leading Like Jesus will help you develop practical leadership skills rooted in the life and example of Christ.

Over six weeks, Pastors Aron and Taylor will guide us through what it means to lead people with wisdom, character, courage, and grace. Together, we'll explore biblical principles of leadership while learning practical tools for caring for, influencing, and helping others grow in their faith.

If you've ever wondered, "Could God use me to lead?" this class is for you.

Calling all kids, youth, and teachers!

You're invited to join us in worship on August 9th for a special moment of prayer for the upcoming school year. You'll also receive a backpack/key tag to carry with you all year long!

All students (K-12) are encouraged to bring your backpack to church on this day!

Registration is not required; all kids will be escorted by their Kidventure Guide and everyone will be called forward at the end of worship.

Discover your role in God’s story and define your next step through Lake Forest 101!

During each of the four phases of this class, led by our pastors and completed in one weekend, you will learn more about Lake Forest, identify where you are spiritually, and make new friends who are all seeking to take their next step in this journey that we call faith.

As you discover your role in God’s story, you’ll build relationships, find places to share your gifts and, upon completion of all four phases, you will have the opportunity to become an LFC Ministry Partner.
