• CHURCH-WIDE
    RENEW Prayer Gatherings

Throughout the Bible, renewal is often preceded and sustained by God’s people humbling themselves, seeking him, and praying. Before the birth of the early church at Pentecost, the followers of Jesus “joined together constantly in prayer” (Acts 1:14).
As we journey through our Sunday morning series “RENEW,” seeking renewal in our lives, our church, and our communities, we will also gather weekly for prayer.

These 30-minute gatherings will include guided prayer, quiet reflection, and space to seek the God who renews our hearts, our lives, and our church. This will not be a a time of singing or a sermon—just an opportunity to slow down, turn our attention toward God, and pray together through a guided service.

RENEW Prayer Services will take place Wednesdays from 6:00–6:30 pm for six weeks, beginning August 5.

All are welcome, and no registration is required.

    Community Connect

We were never meant to do life alone, and church is about more than just showing up on Sundays.

On August 30, drop by the Community Connect table on your way out of church, after each service, and discover the many ways you can build meaningful relationships at Lake Forest. Whether you’re new, have been attending for a while, or are simply craving deeper connection, this is a great next step.

You’ll hear why community matters, learn about groups, mentoring, and other ways to get connected, and have a chance to talk with our team about what you’re looking for in this season of life. No pressure - just a helpful, welcoming space to explore how God might be inviting you into deeper relationships.

Come as you are. Stay for a few minutes. You might just find your people.

  • YOUTH
    Youth Preview Night

Preview Night is a special event for rising 6th graders and their parents or guardians to get a first look at Lake Forest Youth Sunday nights.

While rising 6th graders are welcome to join Youth during the summer, our summer rhythm looks a little different than the regular fall and spring experience. Preview Night gives students a chance to meet other rising 6th graders, connect with their small group leader, and get to know the Youth staff before the school year begins.

During the evening, students will spend time together in a fun, relational activity while parents and guardians hear from Youth staff about what to expect at Lake Forest Youth, how small groups work, and how we partner with families.

Registration is not required, but it helps us plan well and prepare materials.
    Please register below.

    Group Life Fall Kickoff

Groups are made up of people from all spiritual backgrounds – skeptics, spiritual explorers and longtime followers of Christ.
