Community Night
Community Night is a weekly space for people of all ages and stages to step into group life at Lake Forest! People of all ages can gather to grow in faith and build meaningful relationships.
What to expect
5:50–6:00 PM | Arrive + Check In
Come a few minutes early, especially on your first night. Our team will be ready to welcome you, help you check in, and get kids settled into childcare. Bringing a friend who didn’t register ahead of time? No problem, we’ll help them get registered and connected with a group.
Once you’re checked in, head into the Worship Center. Grab a seat, say hello, and meet a few people before we get started.
6:10 PM | Worship Together
Students and adults will gather for a brief time of worship—just a song or two, acoustic and relaxed—before heading to groups.
After Worship | Head to Your Group
Each group has an assigned meeting space. We’ll dismiss everyone from the Worship Center and make sure you know exactly where to go.
7:30–7:45 PM | Wrap Up
Groups will begin wrapping up around 7:30 PM. If you have kids in childcare, please pick them up by 8:00 PM.

Practicing the Way
Learn how to be with Jesus, become like Him, and do the things He did. Follow Jesus in the everyday rhythms of life through the practices, teachings, and framework of Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer.
Marriage Group
Strengthen your marriage through biblical teaching, honest conversation, and practical tools designed to help couples grow closer to God and one another.

Conversations that Count: Faith + Sexuality
Raising kids in today’s world can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Based on Dr. Preston Sprinkle’s teaching, this group equips parents to have healthy, ongoing conversations about faith, identity, sexuality, and God’s design—through 100 one-minute conversations instead of one awkward 100-minute talk.

Grand Matters
Connect with other grandparents for encouragement, support, and conversation about how to faithfully invest in and influence the next generation.

Veterans
Build meaningful community with fellow veterans through shared experiences, spiritual friendship, and Scripture study to grow together in faith.

Middle School Bible Study
Dive deeper into Sunday’s sermon through Scripture, discussion, and questions designed to help middle school students connect faith to the world they’re navigating.
