The Missio Dei, simply put, is the mission of God which is derived directly from Jesus’ command to go make disciples and care for those in need. At Lake Forest Church, we join the Missio Dei by engaging in the lives of vulnerable people, the unreached, and the overlooked.
God’s story is unfolding around us.
We believe an essential part of following Jesus is partnering with Him in missions and you’re invited to join us in the Missio Dei. Whether it’s across the street or across the world, we’re committed to sharing Jesus through acts of justice, mercy, and love. There are so many opportunities for you to get involved too in supporting global partners and missionaries, strengthening local communities, or going boldly to the margins to share God’s Kingdom everywhere.
