We’re building a team of Volunteer Liaisons who will walk alongside a foster family through consistent check-ins, prayer, and helping meet practical needs as they arise.

You’ll be supported by our Foster Support Team Leader with guidance, resources, and a team around you; you’re never doing this alone.

This summer, we launched a brand new missions initiative: the Foster Support Team. This team exists to walk alongside foster families in our church and community so they feel known, supported, and never alone.

As part of this launch, we’re inviting our church family to help provide care bags filled with practical items that support kids in foster care.

Beginning Sunday, July 12, you can pick up a bag and shopping list, purchase the requested items, and return the filled bag to the church by Sunday, August 2.

On August 9, these care bags will be carried in by kids and students from Kidventure and Lake Forest Youth and prayed over as part of our Backpack Blessing.

Pick up a bag July 12–26 at the table in our lobby on Sundays.
