Kids Hope USA is a national organization that builds life-changing relationships one at a time: One child. One hour. One church. One school.

Through this program, we’ve partnered with St. James Elementary School, Pumpkin Center Primary School, and Pumpkin Center Intermediate School to provide mentors and prayer partners to at-risk students. God has been moving in this ministry and allowed us to build some great partnerships with the children and faculty in each of these schools and communities.


Here’s how you can get involved

tell us where you'd like to serve
  • Mentor

    meet for one hour each week with your assigned student (mentee) during school hours.
    FYI: Kids Hope provides resources, training, tips and tricks to this hour spent with your mentor. Plus, each school has a network of mentors to lean on for support and ideas.

  • Prayer Partner

    provide support, encouragement, and accountability for mentor/mentee teams.

  • Events & Celebration Support

    help set up, clean up, and facilitate our holiday and end of year parties, teacher appreciation, and other celebrations.

Support and care for at-risk students.

It only takes one hour.

Too many students stand just one close adult relationship away from thriving in school and in life. This gap hinders education; loneliness obstructs learning. Yet every church’s most abundant resource is people.


We provide structure, training, support, and resources designed for use in public schools by churches to give kids what they need most—hope and love from a mentor.
