Countless times in Scripture, we see that Jesus took time – and often went out of His way – to care for those who were hurting. We believe that, as His followers and His Church, we must do the same.

Lake Forest Church has a care team in place to support prayer needs, provide meals, visit those who are in hospice or medical care, and help alleviate financial burden during seasons of crisis and difficultly.

  • Prayer

Prayer is our direct line to connect with God, both personally and in community. Our staff and prayer team would love to partner with you in praying for the needs, concerns, and hopes that you have. We believe that God hears our prayers and meets us in our needs.

  • Meals

Whether adjusting to life with a new little one at home, grieving a loss, or walking through a season of transition and instability, there are many seasons in life where a home-cooked meal is just the thing someone or a family needs.

  • Financial Support

There are times when there may be a need for assistance with unexpected or exorbitant expenses. Our team aims to not only meet the immediate need, but support individuals and families with long term resources and support.

  • Visitation

Offering compassion and companionship, our visitation team brings comfort to those in crisis and life transitions, which may include hospitals, hospice care, homebound, or other applicable situations. In submitting a prayer request for such a need, you may also include that visitation is needed or welcome.

  • Grief Support

Walking with care and compassion, our grief support team comes alongside those navigating loss. Through resources, conversation, and the twice-yearly offering of GriefShare, we provide space for comfort and healing.
